REBASKA CANOE CLUB FEB 2007 (Private Trip)

Feb 17  Arrive San Jose and transfer to Costa Verde Inn.

Feb 18  Drive to Sarapiqui via coffee finca, La Paz Waterfall, and hummingbird mirador.
After lunch paddle Rio Puerto Viejo.
Overnight La Quinta de Sarapiqui or Hotel El Gavilan.

Feb 19  Paddle Rio Sarapiqui. Explore rainforest.
Overnight La Quinta or El Gavilan.

Feb 20 Paddle class III stretch of Rio Sarapiqui. Possible tour of La Selva Biological Station.
Overnight La Quinta or El Gavilan.

Feb 21  Drive to Turrialba and paddle class III Rio Pejibaye.
Overnight Hotel Turrialtico.

Feb 22  Paddle upper Pejibaye, top Pacuare, or other local white water river depending on water levels and other factors.

Feb 23 After final paddle or other exploration, return to San Jose and Costa Verde Inn for final night.
If time permits, dinner at Mirador Tiquicia with traditional entertainment and a spectacular view of the central valley.

Feb 24 Transfer to airport for return flights or continue Costa Rica exploration.
